Irregularities in vote tallies

A judge has ordered the electronic voting machines from several counties to be turned in for examination because of possible irregularities in vote tallies. In my opinion this is proof that when enough people take action and contact their representatives, we can make a difference.

This is one of my pet projects. Since the February Primary, I have personally been in contact with the U.S. Attorney, our Freeholder and the Gloucester County Board of Elections concerning this topic.

This is very good news. I have been turned away from wanting to use electronic voting machines for quite some time, but now it looks like something is going to get done.

There is a bill in Congress which would bring back paper ballots. This bill has some quirks that are not in the best interest of Americans. This bill is proposing that the counting of the votes would come under the control of the Federal government with possible UN oversite. We need to keep the counting of the votes as local as possible: Paper ballots which are counted immediately after the polls close in full view of the voters of that voting precinct.
