Former Vice President Al Gore said during testimony before Congress in 2007, "the science is settled." Yet, over the past few years more than 19,000 American scientists have signed a dissenting petition coauthored by Dr. Frederick Seitz, renowed physicist and former president of the National Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Arthur Robinson, president of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine.
March 2nd-4th, hundreds of scientists and climate-change experts gathered in New York City for an International Conference on Climate Change that declared, "Global warming is NOT a global crisis!" Many of the scientists signed the Manhattan Declaration, which takes aim at draconian government tax and regulatory measures, like the Honnery-Moriarty proposals. The declaration notes that "there is no convincing evidence that CO2 emmissions from modern industrial activity has in the past, is now, or will in the future cause catastrophic climate change."
The DVD Presentation, "The Great Global Warming Swindle", shows how the hysteria over global warming has parted company with reality. This BBC documentary presents overwhelming evidence that the chief cause of climate change is not human activity, but changes in solar activity.
Because of the length of this presentation, please be prompt in attending this meeting.
Everyone attending with receive a copy of The New American "2008 Climate Debate" issue (while supplies last). William Jasper, Sr. Editor of The New American magazine, interviews John Coleman, Founder of the Weather Channel in this issue. Refering to Global Warming, John Coleman calls it "the greatest scam in history."
You can see the interview with Mr. Coleman on You Tube.
William Jasper also interviews Dr. Arthur Robinson, a professor of chemistry and co-founder of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, in the February 18th, 2008 issue of The New American.
